Early extension is a characteristic that can be found in 64% of amateur golfers. It can lead to a cascade of events. Including flat planing, coming over the top, loss of posture, and much more. For most golfers the biggest issue is a loss of power. When your hips drive forward too early in your downswing you lose the strength and power being created by the hips (glutes).
